Well, we held out hope that we wouldn’t get hit too hard with rain – to no avail. Races are cancelled for today, Friday 5/20/11. We will be racing on Sunday, 5/22/11, weather permitting. Registration from 1:00 to 2:00.
Friday Racing!

Successful 1st race weekend!
Wow – what a great way to start the season. We had almost 40 die-hard riders on Friday night. The temp was about 45 degrees – you know you’re serious about racing if you’re willing to do it in the cold like that.
Sunday we had 75 riders and the weather finally cooperated! Thanks to everyone who made things run smoothly. We love our volunteers!
May 15th Race Postponed an Hour
The track took on a lot of water From the rain we had. Registration will be bumped from 2:00-3:00 so an hour later to give the track some time to dry. Should be a good day of racing. If things change check the website,Facebook,or track hotline for updates. The track sustained damage from kids being on it while it was wet. If you can get out there a little early to help out it would be appreciated. Thanks
Racing This Weekend
There is a race scheduled this Friday in West Fargo if the weather holds up. Registration is from 5:45-6:45. Dilworth will not be racing on Saturday, but Fergus Falls will be. Registration from 11:00-1:00. Then on Sunday West Fargo again registration 1:00-2:00.
New Track Hotline Phone Number
Due to some technical difficulties the track hotline phone number was changed. The new number is (701) 318-7508. Please pass this info on to anyone who may need it. Check the hotline on race days for information on weather cancellations and/or race schedules. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience this may have cause.
Dilworth BMX meeting Thursday, 5/5/11 7:00 p.m.
Dilworth BMX will be having a meeting tomorrow night and are looking for as many people to attend as possible. The meeting will be held at Harry’s/Northland Towing 4021 Main Ave #C in Fargo (right behind Tubs of Fun).
They will be discussing the upcoming season and the future of the track.

Once again, thanks to the volunteers who came out and worked at the track throughout the day on Wednesday. The rubble from the downed wall in the concession stand was removed today and the track got a sweeping along with another dragging and was packed back in. We still have some work to do but as long as Mother Nature cooperates we should be ready for our first race of the year on Sunday, 5/8/11. Registration is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
We will have volunteer need of course on every race day as well. Please see Wayne, Ron or Cindy if you can help out.
We are looking for someone to take the lead on Concessions – someone to organize volunteers to staff the building during races and make desicions on what to offer, etc. If you are interested please see Cindy.
West Fargo Track Work Night
It was a good night last night at West Fargo BMX. Hopefully, the rain will stay away and we can do it again tonight. The track looks awesome. Much was accomplished. The concession stand is now double the size it was and the track looks smooth and ready to ride. Hope to see you around 5:00 pm
Linder Trained BMX Clinic
West Fargo BMX will be hosting a Linder Trained BMX Clinic taught by former World Champion and National Rider, Roger Linder and his team of Special Experts. The clinic will be held on Wednesday June 29th from 6-9PM, the cost of the clinic will be $30 per rider. Roger is the current owner of Phoenix Pro Cycles and was a National Factory team owner for 10 years. Roger brings with him over 33 years of experience in the sport of BMX!! Work Night Planned May 3 – Volunteers needed!
Well things have finally dried up enough that we can get out on the track. Tuesday night May 3rd we will be having a work night at the track.If you can help, come on out.
